Executive Chef

Location – Johannesburg, Gauteng


Staff Connection is on the hunt for a strong Executive Chef to be based at a unique set-up in Bryanston. 

REPORTS TO: General Manager (Hospitality and Services Manager)


  • SA Citizen
  • Culinary Arts / Professional Cookery qualification
  • At least 5-8 years experience in the kitchen (excluding practical training)
  • Experience working in a Hotel, Restaurant and Catering environment will be beneficial
  • Must have experience in managing multiple outlets such as a Restaurant, a Coffee Shop, Dining Room and possibly functions / events
  • Must have experience in preparing meals for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (other requirements such as dietry needs and specials occasions will be ideal)
  • Must have experience in costings, GP, financials, budgeting, forcasting and reviews
  • Must have experience in staff development and training
  • Must have experience in dealing with HR related matters as and when needed
